Delivery riders in Malaysia have long achieved a cult status, where they’re known to be able to do almost anything and everything, such as fixing punctured tyres or delivering orders in the funniest way possible.

Abang Foodpanda or polis?

A Foodpanda delivery rider was recently hailed as a hero after he helped catch and detain a snatch thief in Miri, Sarawak.

According to a video uploaded by @bro.salah on TikTok, the rider is seen tying the snatch thief’s knees deftly with a rope to prevent him from escaping while balancing a cigarette between his lips.

An older man is also seen chiding the snatch thief by telling him that he had hands and legs to earn an honest living.
