A pair of siblings were praised by netizens after a video of them reuniting a child who got lost at IOI City Mall with her mother went viral on TikTok.

According to the clip uploaded by @sharifah.azhar on Tuesday (Aug 2), she wrote that she and her brother went to the mall to buy face masks when they saw the child running around and crying for her mother.

After catching up to her, @sharifah.azhar’s brother carried the child back to the same place where they first saw her, thinking that her mother wasn’t far off. However, she wasn’t there.

Seeing that the child was still in a state of hysteria, the siblings took her to the supermarket to pick her favorite drink, which they paid for later at the counter.

As they were walking out of the supermarket, they met a person that they’ve been looking for the entire time — the child’s mother.

Upon seeing her child, the mother became emotional and broke down in tears as she hugged her child and thanked the siblings for returning her child to her.
