Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh campaigned for Congress candidates in the Mandi Municipal Corporation elections on Thursday and appealed to voters in the Suhra ward for support. During the door-to-door outreach programme, the minister, along with the Congress candidates, interacted with residents and highlighted the party’s focus on inclusive urban development.

He said that the campaign team had visited every household in the ward, listened to public grievances and assured citizens that the Congress was fully committed to ensuring holistic development of Mandi city.

Vikramaditya said that the municipal elections were more than a battle for power and were in fact an opportunity to restore the values of public service and accountable governance. He added that the commitment and dedication of the Congress candidates, combined with the party’s development-oriented policies, would help transform the civic landscape of Mandi.

He said that the party’s approach was centered on addressing grassroots-level issues and strengthening urban infrastructure through people-centric planning. He added that the Congress’ vision prioritised equitable development and improved civic amenities for all sections of society.

Local leaders and party workers accompanied Vikramaditya during campaigning in the Suhra ward as the Congress seeks to strengthen its position in the upcoming municipal elections.
