Premier League side Aston Villa will not make a move for Levante right-back Marc Pubill.
Spanish reports around a month ago linked Villa to the signature of the full back.
Super Deporte now state that Pubill is very highly regarded by Villa's President of Football Operations, Monchi.
However, there is no immediate bid in the offing, as Villa have senior players in that position.
Villa see Pubill as one of the future, which means they may come in for him in a year's time.
The report adds that: "His qualities convince, they think he still has a lot of room for growth and his physique fits with the demands required in the Premier League."
