Aston Villa centre half Ezri Konsa had mixed emotions on the final day of the Premier League season.

Konsa spoke after Aston Villa ended a fine campaign with a 5-0 loss at Crystal Palace.

Despite the result, Konsa did look at the positives of finishing in the top four and qualifying for the Champions League.

We're very disappointed," he said of the game itself.

As a defender, you don't want to concede any goals at all let alone five. We know that Crystal Palace have been on a great run of form, so we knew it was going to be tough today.

We lost today and it wasn't the way we wanted to finish the season, but it's been a great season and we've enjoyed every moment of it.

We've got Champions League football, we'll enjoy the break and then it's go time again."
