Kota Kinabalu: Esscom Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Dr. Jamaluddin Mohd. Ali paid a courtesy call on the Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan at Menara Kinabalu Tower on Tuesday,

Nizam, who is also the Apas Assemblyman, said the visit discussed the Madani Village Adoption program by Esscom which will select one of the villages located on the coast of Apas in Tawau.

Advertisement“The Tawau District is included in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (ESSZone) and various security-related issues were discussed including obtaining views to strengthen control in the area,” he said.

Nizam said the program introduced by the government is an initiative of the Prime Minister through the 2024 Budget to increase access to basic facilities holistically through a whole of government approach.
