Villarreal have reached terms with free agent Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguay striker is currently a free agent after coming off contract at Manchester United last month.
Marca says Cavani has agreed contract terms with Villarreal.
However, Villarreal need to make room in their squad for the centre-forward. Paco Alcacer is set to be sold to create space for Cavani.
Celta Vigo are in talks with Villarreal for Alcacer and once the sale goes through, the Yellow Submarine will register Cavani.
