Villarreal great Marcos Senna says it's too soon to declare Jude Bellingham a Real Madrid great.
Bellingham is being compared with Zinedine Zidane after a superb first two months.
But Senna told Marca: "Comparisons are odious. Bellingham is just a kid and has just started the championship. It is true that he debuted with some great numbers. I don't think anyone expected it. Not even him.
"He is a talent that will mark an era, but comparing now is early. Zidane is who he is. A legend with a great legacy. You have to wait three seasons at Real Madrid to know if Bellingham can be something similar.
"The path that Benzema took is a good example of the patience that must be had with guys like Bellingham. He had a slow path. Good performance mixed with suffering and criticism at the beginning... and he ended up consecrated. Or Luka Modric, who also He needed time to adapt, but he ended up being an idol.
"Bellingham has many years of contract, but he has already shown from early on that he is good. But we have to maintain consistency at Real Madrid. We have to wait. Let's see if he consolidates or is a summer rain."
