Villarreal striker Jose Luis Morales was proud of his hat-trick after their 5-0 rout of Europa Conference League opponents Austria Wien.
Morales was delighted for himself and his teammates after a special night in Europe.
He said: "I tried to take every chance I had, and although I had a few more chances, I'm very happy with my first hat-trick in European competition. We've won three out of three games and that makes us very happy.
"This competition is very important for us. We are lucky to be able to play in three competitions, and although we have important players injured, the team is working very well and the coach is distributing the minutes very well.
"Right now we are favourites to finish top of the group and we are proving it on the pitch. From there, when we get to the knockout rounds, we have to continue on the same path."
