
- A new report indicates that 88 per cent of British adults are concerned about violence against women and girls (VAWG), placing it ahead of immigration (77 per cent) and unemployment (72 per cent) as a public worry.
- The Health Equality Foundation report, based on a GGF Insights poll of 4,007 adults, warns that decades of underinvestment have eroded trust in systems designed to address VAWG.

- The survey also revealed that 44 per cent of women, compared to 26 per cent of men, avoided a place or situation in the past year due to feeling unsafe.
