Police think a homemade bomb was used by the culprit in the explosion that killed a chef in Pandan Indah, Ampang Jaya, last night. According to Berita Harian, the determination was reached as a result of the police finding specific items at the location of the incident that they believe to be components of a bomb. Batteries, power bank devices, and fragments of paper cutters were among the materials uncovered.
Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Farouk Eshak, the chief of the Ampang Jaya District Police, stated that his department had not ruled out the potential that other items had been used to cause the explosion, but they may have been burned as a result of the incident.
Mohamad Farouk was questioned about the possibility that the suspect knew how to make his own explosives, but he was unable to confirm it until the investigation was complete. Making your own bombs is a simple skill to pick up in this high-tech, modern day, but we can't definitely link this incident to how simple it is to learn how to manufacture explosives on social media.
"Even now, the police are still looking into the major offenders of this crime as well as the reason behind the occurrence using all information from the public, witnesses, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage," he said.
According to Utusan Malaysia, due to suspected involvement in an explosion that killed a chef in Pandan Indah, Ampang Jaya, last Thursday, a husband and wife were jailed for seven days.
The two suspects, who are 30 and 33 years old, were taken into custody at a residence in Kedah around midnight on Wednesday before being transported to the Ampang Jaya District Police Headquarters (IPD).
According to Maharaja Tik Tok, the suspect found out about the victim having an affair with his wife since May last year. This anger is believed to be the motif of the murder.
A 28-year-old restaurant cook was killed in an explosion that happened last night at 8:55 as he was holding a box left on the bonnet of his car. The victim, according to Mohamad Farouk, has major injuries to his hands and body. Despite being sent to Ampang Hospital right away for medical attention, the victim passed away at 9.45 p.m.
