The Cameron Highlands District Council (MDCH) made the announcement on their official Facebook page.

They explained that the enforcement action was taken because Cameron Santorini was constructed illegally.

The operation, which took place from 9.00am to 11.30am, was led by the President of MDCH, Tuan Azmil Hadid bin Maznan.

According to the post, this demolition was carried out under Section 70(1) of the Street, Drainage, and Building Act 1974 (Act 133) for Construction Without Approval.

This enforcement action serves as a reminder to all developers to adhere strictly to the regulations and procedures in place.
