When it comes to dining out, cleanliness is always a top priority for customers. However, a recent viral video will surely make you feel queasy.

A video making the rounds on social media shows a foreign worker washing a wok with drain water while sitting inside a large roadside drain.

The clip, shared by an X user (formerly knowns as Twiiter) @mynewshub, has quickly garnered the attention of many Malaysians, sparking outrage and disgust.

In the 24-second video, the man is seen seated in the drain, using the filthy water to wash the wok.

The woman filming the incident could be heard commenting that the roti canai vendor was cleaning the cooking utensil with drain water.

As the scene unfolds, another man appears in the video, seemingly instructing the worker on a different way to clean the wok, prompting him to stand up and move to another area.’

Despite the alarming footage, the location of the roadside stall remains undisclosed.

Unsurprisingly, the video has gone viral, with many netizens expressing their thoughts on the shocking incident.

Some demanded the location of the stall, while others highlighted the issue of employing foreign workers without proper training.
