Kota Kinabalu: Federal Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Chan Foong Hin said the Malaysia-China reciprocal visa-free travel policy would bring more business opportunities to Sabahans and uplift the tourism industry.

He said the announcement by the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia on Friday was a long-awaited breakthrough development finally realised.

“The longstanding good relationship between Malaysia and China, along with the upcoming 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries next year, makes this announcement particularly heartening at such an important moment.
