Vitor Pereira has addressed the recent speculation connecting Nottingham Forest midfielders Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson with summer moves to Manchester United.
Last summer, Manchester United focused on signing players with proven experience in the Premier League, bringing in the likes of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Looking ahead to the 2026 summer window, there are already reports linking them with other players in England – including Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace and Carlos Baleba from Brighton.
There have also been stories suggesting that Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest are on their radar.
Vitor Pereira addresses speculation around Gibbs-White and Anderson

At a club like Manchester United, there’s always speculation over potential moves. Anderson has been a long-standing target for United, though the 23-year-old has yet to make any decisions about his future as Forest prepare for a pivotal summer.
Reports have also emerged linking Gibbs-White with United, just a year after Tottenham’s attempt to bring him in fell through.
If Forest end up relegated, it will become increasingly tough to hang onto their top players. Pereira addressed the links when speaking about the focus of both players:
“I’m not hearing this,” Pereira said, as quoted by the Nottingham Post.
“Every day is work. I feel they are very committed to our target, which is the most important thing.
Anderson addresses transfer speculation
Pereira was joined by Anderson at a joint press conference, where the midfielder was also asked about the ongoing speculation around his future.
“I’m just focusing on my football at the moment and performing and trying to give everything to Nottingham Forest,” Anderson said.
“That’s all that’s on my mind.
“It’s been a big two years [at Forest]. I think I’ve done really well, to be honest, in the time I’ve been here.
“I’ve matured on and off the pitch. It’s thanks to the club for giving me that platform to go out there and play and let me do my stuff.”
There are likely plenty of United fans hoping they get to see him doing his ‘stuff’ at Old Trafford next season.
