vivo Malaysia has launched its latest V series for the local market, and it is the V60 lineup. But for now, it will be the base model vivo V60 to lead the charge.
This new release is built upon the groundworks of last gen and carries the latest round of SoC and camera setup so that the V family of smartphones can continue to be the bang-for-buck flagship icon of vivo.
But the camera bump has been changed from the V50’s “single circle” layout to the now “dual hole” look, but it still has 3 camera lenses, and it is actually better this time around.
The overall form factor is quite standard, with the surface texture being smooth as expected, and the Berry Purple color technically can be a different shade due to the intensity of surrounding lights.
vivo Malaysia also mentioned on the FunTouch OS 15 update that comes running out of the box, as the smartphone features in-house developed AI functions in addition to Google Gemini integration for maximum productivity.
All in all, the V60 can be a strong contender in the market given its price, but also assuming that users are seeking everything but raw performance, as the chipset is centered on better battery life than processing stuff faster.
