Last month, vivo Malaysia announced its vivo Vision Discovery Edition MR (mixed reality) headset is coming to Malaysia, and now the company is providing the public with access to guided demo sessions. The scheduled sessions will be available in vivo flagship concept stores in three locations: Mid Valley Megamall Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Queensbay Mall Penang.
vivo Vision Discovery Edition Available For Demo

These sessions run until 28 February 2026 and customers are required to book registration in advance (you can do that by scanning the QR code shown above), on a first-come, first-served basis. The demo session will involve participants viewing dome-style immersive video simulating a portable 120-foot (36.5m) large-screen cinema, access multi-angle sports and esports content, and try out gesture-based controls as implemented in vivo’s OriginOS Vision operating system.
The vivo Vision Discovery Edition follows four years of internal development, resulting in a gesture-led interaction model supported by eye-tracking accuracy of up to 1.5 degrees and 26-degree-of-freedom finger recognition. Dual Micro-OLED displays delivers 3840 x 3552 binocular resolution with calibration designed to minimize visual strain, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chipset provides the performance headroom required for real-time rendering.
As of this writing, vivo has yet to provide the official pricing and availability information of the vivo Vision Discovery Edition MR headset.
