vivo’s latest mid-ranger, the Y78 5G, has made its way to Malaysia.
The Y78 5G is available for pre-order from today onwards. It will retail at RM1,399, and you can place your orders at vivo Malaysia’s official online store, or on vivo’s official Shopee and Lazada store.
There is an ongoing early bird promo, in which pre-orders for the vivo Y78 5G will come with exclusive free gifts worth RM599. This includes a pair of true wireless earbuds, 180 days extended warranty and screen protection under vivo Care, and a screen protector.
One of the key features of the Y78 5G is its 64MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This is flanked by a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera. At the front in a punch hole format is a 16MP selfie camera.
The Y78 5G sports a 6.78″ curved screen AMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080p) resolution. Additionally, it has 120Hz refresh rates, with 1,300nits peak brightness.
It also has 5G support, thanks to its Snapdragon 695 chipset; as well as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Battery life is decent at 5,000mAh, helped further by 44W fast charging. The Y78 5G is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance.
It comes in two colours: Dreamy Gold, and Flare Black.
