MANILA, Philippines  — Vice President Sara Duterte reported her office's accomplishments on Monday as it started the PASIDUNGOG.

The OVP said the PASIDUNGOG is its yearly awarding ceremony "that recognizes the invaluable contributions of its partners in the shared mission of creating a positive difference in the lives of Filipinos."

"In the previous years, the number of people we served and gave new hope to reached 271,631 individuals", Duterte said in Filipino.

"By providing capital and improving grassroots economies, we have already empowered 39 groups and over 4,400 entrepreneurs through our Mag Negosyo Ta 'Day Program", she said.

Duterte also said the office's free ride buses eased public transport for 2.9 million commuters.

"The OVP Disaster Operations Center continues to provide swift and immediate relief to affected communities", she said.

"Together with our partners, we have already extended critical relief to over 535,000 families across the nation", she said.

She also said that in previous years, 603,751 students received school and dental kits from the OVP.

She also said that every year, the OVP "expands its reach, providing hope and relieving families of crippling debt due to harrowing medical and funeral expenses."
