Red Bull Salzburg director Christoph Freund admits they're fielding major interest for Erling Haaland ahead of the winter market.

Manchester United, Arsenal and German sister club RB Leipzig are among teams chasing the Norway striker.

Freund told VG: "At the moment there is no bid on our table.

"We are relaxed and Erling is relaxed. We enjoy the time with him. It's nice that we have a player who is 19 years old that many big clubs in Europe are really interested in."

Fruend admits they enjoy a good relationship with Haaland's father, Alfie Inge.

He added: "Yes, we have a good relationship. We are always in contact and talk about many things. We are both very happy that this project with Erling works very well. Nobody could know beforehand that it would work like this.

"He is a good father and a very good person. It's nice to talk to him about this boy and about football. It's great that we have him very often in Salzburg."
