  • Sam's Club is raising its annual membership fees for the first time in four years, with the changes taking effect on May 1, 2026.
  • Basic Club memberships will increase from $50 to $60 annually, and Plus memberships will go up from $110 to $120.
  • Plus members will receive an enhanced benefit, with their 2 percent Sam’s Cash rewards cap increasing from $500 to $750 per year.
  • The company stated the price adjustment is to "support the things our members love" and coincides with plans to open six new stores and remodel all 600 existing locations.
  • Even with the increase, Sam's Club's membership costs remain more affordable than those of its main competitors, BJ’s Wholesale Club and Costco.
