
Kota Kinabalu: Muslims who intend to quit smoking are advised to do so during the fasting month of Ramadan.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) Health Promotion Officer Abdul Majidkhan Puyung said they should put their intention to quit smoking into practice during the coming Ramadan.
He said a study found that 95 per cent of smokers were Muslims who were able to control such habits in the month of Ramadan.
