SANDAKAN: Warisan’s candidate Thien Ching Qiang wants to see Sandakan develop like in Sarawak through a local party.
He said this was also one of the reasons he joined Warisan which is 100 per cent local and be the voice of the people of Sabah at the federal level.
“That’s why I also returned to Sandakan after studying abroad,” he said.
Thien is against five other candidates - incumbent Vivian Wong Shir Yee, Hu Chang Lik @ Hii Chang Lik (Independent), Lau Chi Keong @ Thomas Lau (GRS), Lokeman Hazli Azali (Independent) and Lita Tan Abdullah (Independent).
Thien is an engineer and also a manager in East Asia.
