Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan urged the relevant ministry to organise regular townhall meetings in Penampang to foster two-way communication with stakeholders.
The call was made by Political Secretary to Warisan Deputy President, Pritchard Gumbaris, following a meeting between Warisan’s representatives and State Infrastructure Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahelmey Yahya on Dec 13.
AdvertisementPritchard, in a statement Saturday, said the party’s representatives, including himself and from the District Management Unit (UPD) and Moyog State Assembly Service Centre, met with the Minister in his office to address critical infrastructure concerns in Penampang.
The issues were highlighted by Warisan Deputy President Datuk Darell Leiking during the recent State Assembly session, where he urged the Minister to take action regarding the numerous potholes plaguing local roads.
