SANDAKAN: Warisan suffered mass defections of its supporters in Libaran.
The mass walkouts were at two separate locations, namely Taman Sri Rimba and Kampung Sungai Kayu.
At Taman Sri Rimba, Husain Mohamad handed over membership forms of 114 people to the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir, who is also Umno Libaran Division Chief.
Another 103 people in Kg Sungai Kayu also submitted their membership forms to Suhaimi.
They left Warisan because they were disappointed with the party’s management.
