TAWAU: Parti Warisan will launch its new campaign slogan for the coming 17th state election in Tawau today (Saturday), to be officiated by party President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
The launch in Tawau symbolises the start of a political wave of change expected to spread across Sabah.
The event will be attended by Warisan Deputy President Datuk Darell Leiking and several members of the party’s supreme council.
Warisan, in a statement, said it is currently the only local multiracial party that stands independently without joining any coalition.
“Warisan, which plans to contest all 73 state seats, is confident it can return to power in the coming election to bring stability and prosperity to the people,” the statement said.
According to the organiser, the slogan launch will take place in the morning, followed in the evening by the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Night celebration at the same venue, Fuji Park along Jalan Sin On, organised by Warisan Tawau and Kalabakan divisions.
