MANILA, Philippines — Warm and humid weather will prevail in most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.
Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said that the easterlies, winds that pass through the Pacific Ocean that bring warm air, will likely last until the weekend.
“We can expect sultry weather or hotter temperatures especially during late morning until mid-afternoon,” Aurelio said.
Pagasa said the highest temperature today would be in Davao City at 39 degrees Celsius, which falls under the extreme caution category. Metro Manila will be cooler at 34 degrees Celsius.
