This month, a unique occurrence occurred when a large number of anchovies washed up on the shores of Pantai Sura, Dungun, Terengganu. A youngster joyfully gathered the anchovies in a bottle as they sprang at the coastline in a TikTok video that went viral and was made by @rani1964hamid.

Beachgoers were quite interested in the odd sight. The existence of these fish, according to netizens, might be a sign of altered weather patterns or variations in water temperature.

With 124,800 views and 846 likes, the video has generated a range of responses from online users.

"The monsoon season, also known as the season of big waves, is approaching," said user @Mr.PapaZack.

Concern was voiced by another user, @Azeez, who said, "I'm concerned that more things will happen. May Allah keep us safe from that.

"Every fish that comes ashore is a sign of something not good," said @Ani Adani, while @Roszalina Rashidi cautioned that "the tide will rise soon when the fish come ashore."

On the other hand, @MEK DA commented, "What pleasure it is to catch fish! @Sarina urged, "Your support is here. Gather a lot, dear; it's a blessing from God." After three months of preserving it in a jar, you can create a menu.

"I enjoy collecting fish by the beach; it reminds me of the old days," @inah jun concluded her reminiscence.
