Many are aware that giving to charity is a commendable act as it not only cultivates generosity but also earns us blessings. However, it's crucial to be discerning about whom we choose to help. Sometimes, driven by deep sympathy, people take advantage of our kindness. Armed with tattered and tear-streaked clothing, alongside a sorrowful face, there are individuals who easily receive monetary donations, even if it's just a single ringgit.

Moreover, there are unscrupulous groups involved in begging syndicates in major cities like Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, and Georgetown, Penang. A viral video on social media depicts a man meticulously counting money supposedly obtained from begging. Seated under a staircase, he initially reveals several packs of instant food from a batik cloth wrap.

Subsequently, the man begins to organize and count the money, arranging it according to RM1, RM5, and RM10 banknotes. Once he finishes tallying the desired amount, he stashes the money in his pocket before proceeding to count the rest.

This revelation has sparked a range of reactions among netizens, with many believing that this "occupation" of begging might be more lucrative than working a regular job and that we should not be surprised that beggars earned more than us.
