Watch Brian Blessed’s powerful rendition of Three Lions as he sends message of support to England Lionesses

This is the moment actor Brian Blessed shows his support to the England Lionesses in his own powerful version of Three Lions by Baddiel, Skinner and The Lightening Seeds.

Originally released for the European Championships in England back in 1996, the song has gone on to become one of the most popular anthems among England supporters.

Blessed appeared on BBC Newsnight to give his own rendition of the hit.

He sings: “It’s coming home, it’s coming home, football is coming home.”

Blessed then recites the well-known lyrics to the hit football anthem.

He finishes by shouting: “Come on, Lionesses!”
