Going on a morning stroll in your neighbourhood isn't safe anymore!
In a video shared by @update11111, it could be seen from CCTV footage that a 78-year-old elderly women was a victim of snatch thief at 6 AM on Monday, 7th October at Jalan Limau Manis, Bangsar.
She was on her way to a nearby shop to purchase her daily newspaper when she was targeted and dragged to the ground by the thief on a motorcycle.
She suffered severe head injury and is currently under observation at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, where medical staff are monitoring her recovery.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said that "The impact of the snatch threw her to the ground, where she suffered a head injury. No valuables in the bag was snatched."
