A video of a light helicopter which was recently forced to make a landing near the Karak Highway due to inclement weather has gotten the attention of social media users.

In a TikTok video posted by @MrHeliBro, the Robinson R44 light helicopter was seen parked at a clearing near the highway "accompanied" by a police patrol car.

In the accompanying video caption, MrHeliBro said that they had to land due to bad weather near Genting Sempah.

"Thunderstorms on our way back to Kuala Lumpur, landing at Karak highway to be safe," he wrote.

Several netizens praised the good move of the pilot, prioritising the safety of his aircraft.

@Stoneeyes08 commented: "Well done bro, safety first due to the bad weather."

Another user @OneWan said: "one wise pilot."

Meanwhile, several other TikTok users had taken to the comments section, making jokes about the situation.

"How could the police flag down the chopper? How fast were you speeding at that time, bro?," commented @azmiismail.

Another user, @awie4642, said: "It must be the loud exhaust and the dark tinted windows that must have caused the helicopter to be issued a fine by the police.
