In a recent trend on TikTok, influencers have been giving away generous gifts to the public, creating a buzz on social media. One woman had a firsthand experience with this when she received a substantial gift from an influencer named Kimberly.
In a TikTok video, Kimberly presented people with a choice between a cash prize of RM1 or a mystery gift. While most opted for the cash, one woman chose the mystery gift. To her surprise, the mystery gift, enclosed in an envelope, allowed her to purchase any item worth over RM250.

The video, however, sparked negative comments, with some netizens accusing the woman of taking advantage of Kimberly by buying expensive items worth thousands of ringgit when she specifically chose an Apple Macbook. In response, the woman stepped forward to defend herself and clarify the situation.
She explained that what viewers witnessed was content creation, and she was only paid RM100 for participating in the video with Kimberly. Expressing her surprise at the video's unexpected popularity, she emphasized that she never anticipated such a reaction.
The woman disclosed that she reached out to Kimberly about the criticism but received no response. Despite the negative comments, she expressed sadness and emphasized that she would not forgive anyone who wrote negative things about her.
The TikToker has not released any statement regarding the matter.
