The Democratic Sen of Georgia secured a second term on Tuesday, fending off Republican Rep. Mike Collins to retain a crucial Senate seat in the midterm elections.
The victory has elevated the chamber's youngest member into a prominent figure within his party.
Pointing to broader Democratic successes across the country, he said: “The American people have rebuked the depravity, corruption and incompetence of the failed lame duck president Donald J. Trump.”
