A tragic accident claimed the life of a woman, identified as a school teacher, in Kampung Parit Limbat, Pasir Tumboh, Kelantan on Wednesday. The incident unfolded on the first day of Syawal, just before the victim could observe the Eid al-Fitr prayer. CCTV footage from a nearby residence captured the moment when a Perodua Aruz veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a vehicle ahead.
Preliminary information indicates that another individual involved in the accident is critically injured and has been transported to a nearby hospital. The incident was brought to light by a user named Zul Fadli through a post on the Aruz Club Malaysia Facebook page.
"An accident involving a Perodua Aruz occurred on the right-hand side of the road in Pasir Tumboh, Kelantan, on the morning of Eid al-Fitr. The car was hit, resulting in one passenger's death and another in critical condition," he stated.
As of the time of reporting, authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
