Do you remember the time you got your first car? Did you buy it with your hard-earned money or did someone gift it to you?

Well, we bet this lucky boy from KL will never forget the time he received his first car!

A car as a 10th birthday present

Last month, two TikTok videos by @9tripleone showing a 10-year-old boy’s birthday bash went viral for the wild gift he received, a Nissan GT-R R35!

Opening with the legendary and familiar beats of Tokyo Drift, the first video shows a lorry carrying the car driving towards the birthday party venue, sandwiched between a posse of other fancy cars.

It seems that the lorry also came with a special guest, a life-size Optimus Prime from the “Transformers” franchise.

The car had a huge red ribbon on its bonnet and a number plate that read, “AMARAN”, referring to the boy’s name. How cool is that?!

Getting the keys

In the second video, Optimus Prime can be seen presenting the boy with a small gift box. Then, the boy’s father handed the car keys to him.

Although it’ll probably be a few years before the birthday boy can officially drive his new toy, he did sit in the driver’s seat to play with the car’s buttons for a while.

Later, he enjoyed the rest of the birthday party by taking the car out for a spin (with him in the passenger seat of course!) and cutting his birthday cake.

From the videos, the boy was smiling from ear to ear the entire time, speechless at the present he had received.

When I was 10…

In the comments, netizens highlighted the differences between their’s and the boy’s childhood. They talked about how at 10 years old, they were still playing football till Maghrib prayers and catching tadpoles in their school drains.
