A Malaysian netizen recently took to TikTok to share his experience after enduring a rough landing on his Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Kota Bharu (KBR). The passenger described experiencing a headache, which he believed was caused by what he referred to as a mild concussion following the hard landing.

@hkydnd Bergegar kepala, 6 jam sakit kepala lepas landing rasa mcm concussion. Alhamdulillah selamat semua, thank you MAS for the best hospitality, biasa la tu janji selamat KUL-KBR ,. #hardlanding original sound - King Dom

In his video, he captured the moment when the pilot personally apologized for the event, explaining that the rough landing was due to a sudden change in weather conditions. The pilot shared that a trainee pilot was at the controls at the time and had been unable to adjust in time to the shifting environment.

"We regret the hard landing earlier on, caused by the sudden change in the weather," the pilot stated. "Unfortunately, our trainee pilot did not manage to handle it in time. Please be assured that such an incident will not happen again in the future."

Despite the discomfort from the mild concussion, the passenger expressed gratitude towards MAS and its crew. He assured viewers that, despite the incident, the flight had been safe, thanking MAS for its excellent hospitality.

"Alhamdulillah, everyone is safe. Thank you, MAS, for the best hospitality. This is normal, KUL-KBR is safe," he added in his post.

The pilot's reassuring words and the passengers positive message of thanks for the crews care during an unsettling experience are a reminder that, while such incidents can be distressing, the safety of passengers remains a priority. The ability of the crew to handle the situation and comfort those on board is commendable, especially in the face of challenging conditions.
