When one speaks of Malaysia’s historic landmarks, the Petronas Twin Towers would often come first in mind.
The colossal architecture was completed in June 1996, but it was only till Merdeka 1999 that the towers were officially opened.
And during that momentous day, Malaysians finally had the pleasure to marvel over the towers’ beauty as they lit up for the very first time- an event that was broadcasted for the whole country to see.
