Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer last night gave their final speeches ahead of the general election, as they took one final chance to win over voters.

The prime minister was in Hampshire for his, while the Labour leader was in the West Midlands.

An unphased Rishi Sunak told people “it isn’t over until the final whistle blows”, while Keir Starmer encouraged the public to “vote for change”.

Both leaders have been seen casting their own votes as polls opened this morning (4 July).
