Taking to TikTok, netizen @_cueyah_ shared her wholesome interaction with a foreign family during their hike after speaking fluent Bahasa Melayu to her family in their village.
Adding that this was the same family that had lunch at her office three days ago, here is what went down during their hike.
While on their hike at the top of Bukit Lubuk Batu in Marang, Terengganu, this family invited the tourists over for some fried rice.
Striking up a conversation, the family shared that they were from the United States.
Sharing how this family could speak almost fluent Malay, they shared that they travelled all over Malaysia to learn more about the language.
“I can’t believe that they ate the whole thing with their hands. We offered them spoons but they refused.”
Well, isn’t that nice? Way to show what Malaysian hospitality truly is.
