• The BBC has released its first teaser trailer for the new series of Celebrity Traitors.
• The upcoming season will feature “tears” and “paranoia that’s off the scale”, according to Ed Havard, the BBC's director of entertainment, who opened up about the reality series at the Edinburgh TV Festival this week.
• “The thing about this season is things happen that you didn't think could happen on Traitors, that you have never seen before,” he said.
• The star-studded lineup includes Bella Ramsey, James Acaster, James Blunt, Joe Lycett, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Michael Sheen, Richard E Grant, and Sharon Rooney.
• The new series of Celebrity Traitors is scheduled to return to BBC One this autumn.
