Qaseh Rania has become a household name in Malaysia’s female football scene when this 12-year-old joined Croatian football club NK Osijek.

The Selangor-born footballer, started playing the sport after following her brother and got further motivation from her father.

“My father taught me some of the skills I needed to play football. But since I sit in defense, I focus on my passing.”

“When I got good at shooting and controlling the game, I played my other favourite position which is midfield.”

So, just how good is she? Here is a clip of her scoring a goal while playing with other boys her age.

What a kick!

Our guess is, training with her dad at a young age helped her with her game. According to her father, following her training stint in Croatia, her coaches wanted her to come back when she reaches 14 years of age.

“They want her to come back and play for them. She will follow a special program set by her coaches in Croatia.”

“That was their offer three days before we went back to Malaysia. They are really impressed with her and want her to play.”

“If she continues at NK Ojisek. She will develop and succeed and football.”
