A recent TikTok post by user @sazzul_iqbal has gone viral after capturing a frightening moment on the road involving a lorry transporting gas cylinders.

@sazzul_iqbal First time nampak tong gas tercampak dari lori...Lepas ni kena alert jangan follow lori gas dekat-dekat, kadang musibah ni datang tiba-tiba...#fypシ #tiktokmalaysia original sound - Sazzul_Iqbal

According to the dashcam footage shared by Sazzul, several gas cylinders fell off the back of a moving lorry while it was en route to Gadek, Melaka. The video shows the lorry traveling at a considerable speed before the safety net securing the cylinders reportedly came undone, causing the heavy containers to slide off the vehicle.

Two gas cylinders were seen rolling to the side of the road, narrowly missing nearby vehicles. Fortunately, no road users were hit during the incident. The footage also shows other motorists slowing down as soon as they noticed the fallen cylinders, likely avoiding what could have been a serious accident.

A witness at the scene claimed that the lorry was moving at a high speed, which may have contributed to the incident. The claim has sparked concern among netizens, many of whom expressed fear and shock in the comments section of the viral post.

In his caption, Sazzul urged road users to be extra cautious when driving near heavy vehicles.

"It's my first time seeing gas cylinders fly out from a lorry. From now on, we have to be alert and not follow gas lorries too closely. Sometimes disasters like this happen suddenly," he wrote.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of proper safety measures when transporting hazardous materials and the need for drivers to maintain a safe distance from heavy vehicles at all times.
