In response, the company released a statement on October 22, announcing that the man had been dismissed "due to serious violations of company policies and relevant laws."
As news of the incident continued to spread, the man's wife also spoke out, expressing her devastation over his actions. In a public statement, she revealed that this wasn't the first time he had done something like this, and she is planning to divorce him as a result.
Meanwhile, the man, aware of the viral backlash, lodged a police report, reportedly out of fear for his safety. In the report, he admitted to taking the upskirt video but claimed he had since deleted it.
