A Selangor-based veterinary clinic recently celebrated the recovery of a “feathery” patient of theirs, until the happiness unexpectedly took a grim turn.
In a video shared by Vetico Animal Clinic, a staff was seen holding a bird nicknamed ‘Birdie’ that they had nursed back to health.
It’s believed that Birdie was injured, and the clinic took it under their care for a week until it was healthy enough to fly and be released into the wild.
However, merely seconds after Birdie took flight, an eagle suddenly snatched it on air, leaving the staff reeling by the sight.
Despite trying their best to pry the eagle away, there was nothing they could do.
The incident has left viewers on the edge of their seats as they symphatize over Birdie’s demise.
