
SANDAKAN: Residents here are advised to prepare for a temporary water disruption due to critical repair work scheduled at the Segaliud water treatment plant.
The disruption is expected to affect multiple areas in Sandakan district starting 7.30am on Aug 26 (Monday) and will take approximately one week for the water supply to return to normal.
Residents are advised to store sufficient water for their daily needs ahead of the disruption.
Meanwhile, the Sandakan Water Department assured that they are taking all necessary measures to minimise the duration of the disruption and restore service soonest.

The maintenance work is critical to prevent potential future failures and ensuring the long-term quality of the water supply, he added.
