Waterbomb Seoul 2026 kicks off with star-studded lineup led by Taemin, Jay Park, Karina, and J.Y. Park

MANILA, Philippines — South Korea's premier summer music festival, Waterbomb Seoul 2026, opened at the KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage, launching a three-day celebration of music and water-themed entertainment with a lineup featuring some of the biggest names in K-pop and Korean hip-hop.

Leading this year's roster are Jay Park, Taemin of SHINee, J.Y. Park, Karina of aespa, BIBI, Lee Young Ji, RIIZE, and KISS OF LIFE, among other artists. As in previous editions, performers are divided into the festival's signature Green and Yellow teams, with artists and fans taking part in the event's iconic interactive water-gun battles that have become a hallmark of the Waterbomb experience.

First launched in Seoul in 2015, Waterbomb has evolved from a local summer festival into an internationally recognized event, combining live music performances with large-scale water fights that offer fans a unique concert experience. Its growing popularity has fueled its expansion beyond South Korea, with events now taking place in several countries across Asia and other parts of the world.

The festival also made a successful debut in the Philippines on Feb. 22 and 23, 2025, at the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park, Manila. The two-day event featured a star-studded lineup that included B.I, Chanyeol, Hyolyn, Hwasa, BamBam, Jessi, and Kang Daniel, introducing Filipino audiences to Waterbomb's signature blend of live performances and interactive water battles.

Following its Seoul stop, the festival will head to Busan on August 8, where EXO's Kai and Jeon Somi are set to headline. The tour will continue at Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano on August 22, before making its way to the United States for Waterbomb Las Vegas, scheduled for September 19 and 20 at Craig Ranch Regional Park.

As Waterbomb continues to expand its global footprint, the festival has cemented its reputation as one of the most anticipated summer music events, bringing together top artists, immersive performances, and its signature water-filled atmosphere for fans around the world.
