
Kota Kinabalu: Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) students greeted new Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Kadir with protest banners over water issues they faced on campus, it has been reported.
The group of students also "apologised" to Zambry, who was visiting the university, for greeting him without having showered first in the morning due to the problematic water supply at the university, NST reported.
The report said it was understood that the Water Department's water tankers supplied water to the campus but it was not enough for the campus residents.
