Grieving families of the Air India flight 171 disaster are still waiting for answers one year after the Boeing 787 crashed, killing 260 people.
Relatives say they have been met with “not even an auto-reply” to questions about the tragedy emailed to the airline, as families remain stuck in turmoil.
“I don't know whom should I have to blame for this, Air India or the maintenance company or Boeing. I don't know whose mistake, but whoever's mistake, they have to tell us the truth,” says Bhavika Patel who lost her husband and mother-in-law in the crash.
Ms Patel recalls the anguish caused when authorities denied families permission to perform rituals at the crash site.
One year on, the families are still demanding accountability.
