LAHAD DATU: The East Sabah Coastal Special Security Command (Esscom) will continue to approach and serve the community through a field trip programme to strengthen cooperation between the community and the security forces.

Its Executive Officer, Dr Jamaluddin Mohd Ali, said the field trip programme was implemented by Esscom is in line with its motto, “Generating Prosperity Together”.

Esscom will continue to establish a close relationship between the community and the security forces because this is the catalyst for peace and public order, especially in the East Coast Security Zone of Sabah (Esszone),” he said at the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration in Kampung Muhibbah recently.

Also present was ESSZone Deputy Eastern Command Commander, Brigadier General Johari Ismail.

He also urged all leaders and communities at the grassroots, to be the “eyes and ears” of the security forces and help curb unwanted activities that would threaten the peace and security of the country.

The villagers of Kg Tabank and Kg Assam received five cows from Esscom, SMK Sepagaya and UPPM in conjunction with Aidiladha.
